About the artist
Anna Sycheva (Artist)
“Painting is life itself. In it, nature appears before the soul without intermediaries, without covers, without conventions. Poetry is intangible. Music is intangible. But painting, especially in landscape, is something real.” Eugène Delacroix.”
My name is Anna Sycheva, I live and work in Moscow. Higher education, Lomonosov Moscow State University, I also took a professional retraining course “Media and Communication Design” at the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University and an academic course of painting and drawing in a private painting studio. For the last few years I have been actively engaged in painting. At the moment I have participated in a number of art exhibitions in Moscow, competitions, art projects, participant of traveling plein airs, some of my works are in private collections.
In painting I like juicy, pure, bright colors, I often draw inspiration from my travels in my native land, where I am inspired by the beauty of nature itself! I love to paint from nature, I love plein airs. I try to fill each picture with light, love, harmony, warmth and just a good mood, which positively affects the energy of the work. I want my works to charge with positivity, joyful emotions, cause aesthetic pleasure, make you think about life and its meaning.
For me, painting is beauty, it is love, it is light drawn from the depths of the world around me. I strive for my works to take the viewer away from the everyday routine into the illusory and beautiful world of art, awakening the senses and inspiring creative impulses.
I love it when a brush with paint touches the canvas, creating a new reality: bright, rich, unique, looking at which you want to look at life through the prism of love.
I want my paintings to energize people with energy, positivity, joyful emotions, aesthetic pleasure and make them think about life and its meaning, encourage them to reflect on pleasant moments.
